PELI-U 4th Graduation Ceremony

PELI-U 4th Graduation Ceremony

We had a colorful 4th Graduation Ceremony for 2016 PeerLink Initiative Uganda (PELI-U) Skills Development Trainees. A total of 61 (31 Tailoring & 30 Cookery, Baking and House Keeping) community based youth graduated.

We are grateful to Rukungiri District RDC the Chief Guest, the LC 5 Rukungiri District, Rukungiri District Deputy CAO, Fr. Marius from Kitanga Parish the Main Celebrant and other religious leaders, Nyarushanje Subcounty Administration, the Schools, Partner Organizations (FCDE & Compassion), Community members and Parents for presiding over and attending the function.

The youth and women who graduated we are proud of you. It’s been a fruitful (9) nine months period of leaning with you and we are sure you are empowered to better your lives and your households and communities.

Team PELI-U we are one body with many parts (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) and our collective effort contributes to our success. We are committed to contribute to efforts to empower youth with soft skills and practical skills to increase their competitiveness and increase their ability to get employed and started own enterprises.
